Hi Al good to hear from you, hope you're keeping well. I work at RAF Wittering as an Airfield Wildlife Control Officer, keeping the runway clear and safe. Yes they were visitors from RAF Leeming. We only have small prop trainers flying in and out on a daily basis but have quite a few visitors dropping in. They also use us for practicing for flying displays. We also get quite a few helicopters, chinooks and pumas mainly, they drop in for refuelling. Rumour has it that we might be getting some fast jets on again on a permanent basis which will be great.

No worries S_O, I always make sure that any predictive text is turned off on all my tech equipment after an episode when texting the police about something where it did it's own thing. Made me smile when I read it.
