I switched from canon to sony (t2 to a77/a99) mainly due to sony being much better at auto focusing during video. I understand some of canon's cameras released since then are much better at video auto focusing, but to say no one but canon is good at this is not a true statement.

Right now larger vehicles are more popular because the price of gasoline has fallen so much to around half of what it was not too long ago. When the oil surplus runs out gasoline prices will rise dramatically and smaller, more efficient vehicles will become popular again. And they will be made in Mexico. And the builders of the larger, more luxurious vehicles will be laid off. It has happened before, it will happen again. "Those who do not know history are doomed to repeat it." Whether the article has a "liberal" of "conservative" bias is irrelevant. Both ends of the political spectrum have an anti-historical bias. Maybe Trump's wall will be needed to prevent our citizens from fleeing to Mexico to get work.

Last night I watched an old movie, Superman Returns (2006). Near the beginning of the film, Clark Kent goes into the Daily Planet, and as he's walking to his desk, Jimmy Olsen's camera falls. Being Superman, Clark quickly reaches down and catches it before it hits the floor. My eyes caught the gold stripe on the lens: Nikon! A little while later, Jimmy has the camera strap around his neck: Nikon D200. If I hadn't known when the film was made, that camera would have given me a clue.

Many times I've stopped, rewound, started, and paused to see what kind of a camera the characters are using. I'm sure most of you do the same thing, and I pity my non-camera friends who don't even notice that a camera is on the screen.

I'm with you jerryc41. Rented and watched Batman vs Superman last night. My company laughed when I had to watch the scene where the reporters snapped pics outside of the capital building twice to determine what brand of camera was on screen(Nikon). I love the new Supergirl series and it kills me every time Jimmy Olsen takes a pic with his external flash, that never fires. Use to blow a gasket watching the CSI's when they snapped pics without focusing first.

I recently entered photos in the Wisconsin State Fair (August 4 - 14) photo contest for my very first time. There were around 2,600 total photos entered in 102 classes. I won 1 - 4th, 2 - 3rd, 2 - 2nd and 3 - 1st place ribbons. These three photos took 1st place in their class. I had a good day.
Stunning! May i ask what camera and len(s)?

Yes. One could make a good case that all politicians are corrupt. But there is a difference with the Hillary thing. The money donated to the Clinton Foundation was supposed to be a charitable deduction. If any of those funds was siphoned off to pay for Hillary's favors or for her political activities that would be a serious crime. At this moment there is no proof that any of this happened, but it is part o the FBI investigation.

boberic, I concur. Lets wait and see what the investigation discovers. It may uncover some wrong doing and it may uncover nothing. Just like the last investigation.

Jeff as many others have posted "great shots" and "graduations". And if I'm not mistaken Hershel is a big shot at B & H out of New York. I'm sure he has seen thousands of photos, so if he says there are good then they probably are. I'm a nuts and bolts type of guy, so do you mind sharing what equipment that you shot with.

No one--even the B******i committee--is talking about B******i now.

Who was that other thing you mentioned? White Water? When was that?

What does that matter?

Now, in the present: Who is that Trump guy? Do you really want to v**e for him, yes or no, and why?

How about Ted Cruz? Is he your man? Why is that?

Are you really going to ignore Jeb? Why?

Who--in both parties--is qualified? Name anyone who has the qualifications to be president, who is actually running. There are three, possibly four.

Who are they, and why? And Which One are you going to v**e for?

B******i and that other thing, White Water are Ancient History. Stay in the present.

That's bad enough.

Calm down little man. If you can't handle a little descent perhaps YOU should find a nice, cozy, padded echo chamber and plot putting all libs in a guarded camp. You could at last, have a purpose in life.

Texcaster it didn't surprise me that someone responded like that. I'm actually shocked it took as long as it did. Some people revert to name calling when you dare have a different opinion, or challenge them on facts. And although this particular individual didn't use the "Lib" word someone called me that later on. Again when all else fails, call names. BTW is "Liberal" suppose to be a bad word now? Amazingly this post started off by the OP asking about Hillary Clinton's financial donors. When I merely mentioned that she was no different then the rest of them we got sidetracked on her alleged scandals and investigations. Didn't one of the main individuals behind the investigations admit that the real reason behind it was to hurt her politically? These same individuals are the first ones to cry about government waste. How much are these "witch hunts" costing the tax payer? Oh and you forgot to tell that individual that since he will be able to guard the Lib camp he will be able to put the 15 or 20 guns he has to good use. BOTTOM LINE THE ONLY DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HILLARY AND THE REST OF THEM (good or bad) IS SHE SITS DOWN WHEN SHE GOES NUMBER 1.
