Last night I watched an old movie, Superman Returns (2006). Near the beginning of the film, Clark Kent goes into the Daily Planet, and as he's walking to his desk, Jimmy Olsen's camera falls. Being Superman, Clark quickly reaches down and catches it before it hits the floor. My eyes caught the gold stripe on the lens: Nikon! A little while later, Jimmy has the camera strap around his neck: Nikon D200. If I hadn't known when the film was made, that camera would have given me a clue.
Many times I've stopped, rewound, started, and paused to see what kind of a camera the characters are using. I'm sure most of you do the same thing, and I pity my non-camera friends who don't even notice that a camera is on the screen.

I'm with you jerryc41. Rented and watched Batman vs Superman last night. My company laughed when I had to watch the scene where the reporters snapped pics outside of the capital building twice to determine what brand of camera was on screen(Nikon). I love the new Supergirl series and it kills me every time Jimmy Olsen takes a pic with his external flash, that never fires. Use to blow a gasket watching the CSI's when they snapped pics without focusing first.
