Cape Town below Table Mountain, panoramic shot at the bay taken at the end of the day.

The light was just incredible and it was as if mother nature was painting the sky as I watched, just magical.

Nikon D3100, Nikon 18-200mm lens, F7.1, 1/40s, ISO 400
4 images.

Excellent shot. It certainly portrays the home counties.

Thankyou, I had been watching this field for a week or two and thinking they have to turn the hay at sometime, and then bingo, the tractor was at work, and yes , i am lucky to live here in the Home counties.

It is officially the end of summer according to the met office in the UK.
I took this shot yesterday in the meadow of one of our local farms as the farmer was turning the hay, it certainly doesn't feel like the end of summer yet, as hopefully the photo shows.
Oh, by the way, in case anybody is curious, the hawk in the sky top right is a Red Kite.

Awesome shots. May I ask what type of camera & lens used? I too enjoy Birds of Prey.

Thanks for the compliments everybody, the whole day was brilliant for me.
My camera is a Nikon D7100 with a Nikon 18-200mm F3.5-5.6, I also have a Sigma 150-500 but I did not need it on this particular day.

I had one of the best days and wonderful experiences of the many years of my life at a bird of prey sanctuary.
My wife had surprised me with some tickets to the English School of Falconry in Bedfordshire, England.
These images are just some of the photographs I had the opportunity to take.

I have a D7100 & use a Yongnuo RF-603N remote trigger. It runs at 2.4GHz & will trigger shutter, flash, or both, from a long distance. It is not all that expensive & works flawlessly. :-)

Thanks Dook, I will check it out

I don't know about the Phottix Strato, but I owned the Phottix Atlas II triggers and in addition to being fine flash triggers, they'd also trigger the camera, and they did a fine job. They have a HUGE range, 350 meters!

Thanks rpavich, I will check out the Phottix Atlas II triggers.
