Fantastic shot! Great color, really draws you into the scene. Very nicely done.

Hey, thanks Treepusher. It was one of those red letter days. First autumn with a DSLR, but the fantastic scenery balanced out any lack of technical proficiency. Ended up with a good number of keepers. Enjoy!

I like everything about this photo but really love the perspective. Were you standing in the water? Well done.

Glad you like, joehel. Thanks. Yeah, life on the edge, but it was raining so hard it didn't really matter. Mucking about with a plastic bread bag all day inspired the development of an umbrella system that the tripod holds during setup but quickly slides off for the actual shot. Get some of the best shots under the worst conditions. Had to actually take cover under a ledge for a while it was coming down so hard. The biggest problem was leaves building up on the tripod legs and causing vibration. Enjoy.

Thanks Neweagle. Got a buddy originally from Wales. You folks got some mighty fine photo ops in that part of the world. Enjoy!

Fabulous image, it should be hanging on someone's wall. Gorgeous colors.

Thanks much, Cal. Got a 20"x30" of a slightly different view ready to hang once I get situated.

Yes this is very very nice...great color...great work on this.

Thanks Bret. Actually, methinks this is from when my only pp tools were whatever came with windows vista, so the only "work" was getting out there in the rain, and that's more like play!

interesting photo.
We have a Bridal Veil Falls. Very high steep ones up Provo, Utah canyon. Have to take a few shots when it gets warmer.

We do also, in Oregon-- and I know there's one in California. I wonder how many states have a Bridal Veil falls?

More like how many per state. Could probably do a whole book on the different ones.

What a beautiful picture. The only Bridal Veil I know of is in Yosemite.

Thanks Lacey Girl. This one is on a tributary of Tinkers Creek.
