Randy, very nice catch. Great color and detail. Jeff

Thank you! I just walked up to see how close I could get and it just stayed there for me. I had one hover next to my head while I was taking pictures, the wings were loud.

Looks like that eagle is being tracked. It appears that both legs are tagged. Nice pictures.

Let Bob fix your photos if you have any.

That's funny because I don't post process and the sky is white because the sun is setting...look outside.

Right! The Mortensen photo in the path should impress you, as he thought Ansel Adams was a lousy photographer.

You may understand the Night Game too. No wonder no one is sitting at the picnic tables.
Now you know why people don't want people messin with their photos, them two just went from bad to worse.

Picnic Table pictures, Grandkids...oooops we have that one already, how about Dry Waterfalls?" :-)

Hey, great, I got summa dose!
Well, with your photoshop you could put people in the first 2 photos and maybe clean up the tears in the last one.

H.G. Wells said that, "There is no passion on earth equal to the passion to edit someone else's draft." Does that also apply to photography?

I'm sure HG Wells got permission before he ever edited someone elses work.

I am just wondering what the reason is for not downloading a poster's photo and showing what you mean when critiquing it. When teaching painting and drawing, I hardly ever worked on a student's drawing, and if I had to, I erased my work. A person's work is theirs only. However, in digital photography, the original would not be altered if I copied it and showed what I meant.

I would much prefer someone show me exactly than have to hope I've translated their words properly in a critique.

Am I missing something?

I would not purchase PSCC if I didn't have any photos to edit or work on. Looking at you profile, it seems you don't have any photos to edit and you want to practice on others photos and call it your work.

Even after the many replies (thanks folks), I see no solid reason.

"Bad Form"? Why

"Whole World see edits"? Well, the whole world reads my words, and "a picture is worth a thousand" of them.

I am aware of and thankful for the specific forums that allow it, but still think we are missing a fuller appreciation of photography, for no particular reason. (as for compatibility, we'd just have to use jogs)

Still unanswered for me is the question "why?"--especially in any forum that invites critique or analysis.

Why are you wanting to alter others photos, so you can repost them somewhere else and claim they are your work? I have seen your few posts and they are poor pictures. Maybe you should alter your own. Go out and shoot your own photos and edit away!
