Hi gang I recently turned pro. I believe I'm reasonably proficient at shooting. Iam not edit savvy at all I need to know if I can fix peoples: zits, wrinkles and pale skin tone, also toddlers perpetually runny noses and forehead scrapes that they almost always show up with........ with lightroom...
Currently I send my stuff to a pro editor because people expect to look better than they do in person. I am hesitant to buy photoshop because I've heard it's hard to use and meant for more graphic art based image creation. I just don't want to find out that I can't make these corrections
yes I see the pyramid,,,,,anyone else think it's weird that he goes to a great museum and comes back with pics of the floor???
I've seen a wrist brace thingy tha thelps with this maneuver
great points everyone. One thing that hasn't been mentioned yet is the Jedi mind trick made possible by a big DSLR In your hand.
I've found that in most cases people will do whatever I say simply because I'm shooting with a big boy camera. I go to nightclubs and shoot ( with the clubs permission) and give the pics away for free,, for publicity. I see candid shots being taken all night long by everyone with their phones. 1,2,3, click and they're back dancing instantly. I will approach the same group and position them encourage fist pumping hair flicking etc. they almost always do it.
Guess who's pics I see on facebook on monday...
Bravo I'm glad to hear about a shooter gettin his way.
did you get any static for using a flash at the event?
thank you I've had this same problem
Make a hood yes, bring stuff to clean glass with. I like the "man on a mission attitude""
how often does one hear "i have to take care of a coyote issue"
what generator do you useI've heard/read that generators can damage studio strobes if the Sin wave is not correct >>> I've never been given an acceptable explanation, my local camera joint just tells me it's best to rent their batteries for stuff like this
Thanks
bravo captain c I'm copying your instruction for my file
the other guys stole my thundr but I feel compeled to add anyway
practice, dry run, rehearse etc.... however one refers to it. you will thank yourself when you're on site and the model has an issue and eats up 3 of your 4 min.
The only thing you can control is you and you preparation. I have a full size mannequin for this exact reason...
been there many times nice shot
