Tent catapilars prefer Walnut trees
Looks like tent catapillars. If so not a spiders web but the moths web...like a silk worms.
I really enjoyed these photographs. Bring back many memories to me. We had 30 chickens , all named and 4 white ducks...all named. I wish I could have chickens and ducks again.
We had bees in our stair well when I was a kid. Had to call the local bee keeper to move them. I was a huge swarm. I rarely see a honey bee here. They are believed to be extinct in our area.
