Just because I prefer to stick with photo topics on a photo site? And yes free speech is free speech, but can't you make a point without resorting to personal or sectional abuse?

it's secede. Of course, if they are not getting what they need from the state, I hope they succeed. At my end, there are parts of Maryland with people in it that want to go it alone too. Probably some other states too.

I understand your preference to unload it all, but I am interested in just the film, if possible.

For sale or trade. I just purchased someone's entire Canon setup, but there are some included items that I just don't need, so I'm offering:

1 - Scotch-Brite Lens Cleaning Cloth (just the idea of Scotch-Brite and lens cleaning don't seem to belong together).

3 - 55mm round plastic filter cases, one slightly broken.

1 - Crystal Optics 55mm UV filter (has anyone ever heard of them?).

1 - Kalimar 55mm polarizing filter (listed on Amazon for $5-50).

2 - Used microfiber lens cleaning cloths, one yellow, one black. Don't know what they've been used on but the colors look good together.

2 - Plastic lens hoods. I don't know which of the 4 I got fit my lenses, so it will be my pick of which 2 you get. Sorry.

1 - blower brush, kinda smallish... ok, I can't feel any air blowing but it is a brush and kinka cute.

2 - Canon body caps one from Japan, one from Taiwan.

3 - Rear lens caps, 1 from Japan, 2 from Taiwan.

1 - Unopened 4-pack Kodak Max Versitility 24 exp. ISO 400 color print fim. Expired Jan 2008.

1 - Unopened 4-pack Kodak 200 Film, ISO 200 color print film. Expired Jan 2008.

2 - Loose rolls Kodak 24 exp. 400 ISO color print film, date unknown.

3 - Loose rolls Kodak 24 exp. 800 ISO 800 color print film, date unknown.

Pullease sold all together, cash only, shipping not included. All items subject to prior sale. Make an offer. Thanks.

Think simple. Try auto or P for a while, and concentrate on really LOOKING at what you are seeing. Develop your photographer's eye. Then when you get home & have time, play with the settings.

Yes, that is a danger. re: German.....there's a story about a Lufthansa pilot coming into Berlin, asking landing instructions in German, & reminded to use English. "I am a German pilot in a German airplane landing in a German city! Why must I use English." A British voice cuts in, "because you lost the bloody war, mate!"

You mean Spanish & English? It's possible that we are making a very fundamental evolution here. But you are also right about difference. Also, I'd be against allowing Sharia here. It seems to work just find for misogynistic, techno-fearing haters wanting to burn the world back down to the 10th century but it has no place here. Besides, if the west is so horrible, why come here?

Well, I feel that what they do at home or on their own time is their own concern. If they want to preserve their own culture that's fine. But they need to respect where they are now. Still, I believe there is room for all, and that new ideas enrich and strengthen a culture. The Russians must take care that they don't start to look inward because they risk becoming stale as a nation and a people. Actually, this is advice to US as well. Have you ever noticed how there is a sort of hazing process for each new group. They arrive and are "those people." After a generation or two, their grandchildren get to make the same complaints that were made about their own families.
