Really cute

I am a registered Republican for no specific reason other than in order to v**e I must register as Democrat or Republican. I try to evaluate issues including political ones with no consideration as to which party may be presenting it. I admit, I see most issues as black or white and very few as gray.

I see many if not most Politicians as worthless who probably would not survive nearly as well financially if they had to work in the private sector. Most would like you to believe the reason they are politicians is to help our citizens. I believe the majority are there mainly for the “under the table” perks they receive while in office. Look how many are elected into the political life as average citizens economically but after taking office in a short time they are millionaires. And, we are supposed to think that's just a coincidence. I am still waiting for my turn for that to happen to me.

I believe today America is in real trouble financially, morally and spiritually. Our President bragged they have just passed a bill which raises our national debt ceiling and will save us a trillion and a half or so dollars in the next 10 years. What he neglected to say is anything about our out-of- control spending and our increasing national debt which never decreases making what he is trying to get us to believe is nothing more than verbal flatulence; again.

We have a sitting President and an X-President and Vice President who each has been found to have various government documents in their homes. As we know Trump has been charged with various crimes with regard to the documents he had. Biden and Pence both have said they didn’t know the retrieved documents were in their homes. GIVE ME A BREAK! Are we really supposed to believe that? Lying seems to be the order of the day for Politicians anymore.

Our elected officials for political reasons allow someone like George Santos an exposed habitual liar and perhaps even worse, to continue his term as a Representative, instead of kicking him out on his butt as soon as possible which in my opinion should have been done quite some time ago. Maybe we should have our elected officials attend mandatory classes of old Superman movies to learn “T***h, Justice and the American Way”. It seems obvious to me they don’t understand or maybe never did?

We pass laws to regulate what can and can’t be done regarding sex altering operation to minor children, laws to protect the LBGT community, unfair and unreasonable a******n laws with regards to a woman’s rights, more useless gun laws that people intent on doing evil simply ignore. All the while not doing some defensive things that might actually help. Such as one entry only into the schools through metal detectors and all other doors electronically unlockable and lockable for emergencies only with just a few selected individuals with the code or key able to do so. We provide little affordable mental health care for those in need. These things cost money so instead of taking care of our own we continue to give foreign aid to some countries that h**e us except for our handouts and we continue to give illegal border crossers free benefits that many of our own citizens can’t afford or qualify for. And now; some fool politician has suggested we should make i******s eligible for Social Security.

Most of our churches are governed by a higher up organization that seems more interested in the financial aspects of the church rather than the spiritual life of the church and its followers. Today we have people of the cloth being called on the carpet for various sex crimes. We have increasing numbers of people today who seem to have little or no moral compass anymore and care little about anybody but themselves.

Sadly, maybe we are at a point where many wrongs can never be righted and the only thing we can do is to keep trying to fix things no matter how futile some of our ridiculous attempts are. We keep repeating ideas that don’t work hoping for different results which don’t happen.

Lord: I pray; we need your help now more than ever.

What's up? We've seen almost nothing of Trump's family for months. Then today on the news a couple of his high-powered attorneys are jumping ship. Do all of them now seeing Trump in a sinking ship and don't wish to sink with him? No doubt he's in big trouble right now but will anything come of it remains to be seen.

Anyone care to explain and defend this statement? If your President you can declassify a doccument just by thinking about it?

How about one way into schools through a metal detector no exceptions. Electronic locking doors. Can be opened in emergencies only by a few selected persons. Won't stop all evil doors but it would be a good start. The problem: it costs money

Dan Patrick, Lt. Gov. of Texas finally admitted no matter what laws we have there are those who will commit evil no matter what the laws say. 


 But he also made a stupid statement saying "we are doing all we can to stop this".  B.S.  There are a number of things that might help. But, they cost money and our elected officials choose to spend money on other things.

Isn't it strange how so many people today live above their means and do not take responsibility for themselves and their family? No life insurance, health insurance and more. And, yet they drive expensive cars, live in homes bigger and fancier than needed and have all sorts of stuff that isn't necessary.

Yet; when a tragedy happens they are quick to arrange a go-fund- me account asking others to chip in and pay the bill for them.

No way, not a nickel from me unless there are justifiable extenuating circumstances that caused their problem.

And that makes a difference?

More laws are currently being proposed and being considered.

Why do people think people who do mass shootings. etc. will be deterred by more laws when the laws we now have would stop these people if obayed?

Universal background checks? Can't pass one? No problem, just buy a gun from the street. We don't have a gun problem. We DO gave a people problem with certain individuals.

And you really think more laws as proposed are needed will work? If you buy that I have some prime property in South Florida I would like to sell you.

Guns are not the problem, people are. I have no idea how to fix that but it seems like no one else does either. So we pass more laws and wonder why they do nothing. We better start being more defensive. Metal detectors and electronically locking and unlocking doors would be a good start.

The anti-gunners clamber for more laws. Do they really think more laws will make those who disobey the ones we already have stop k*****gs?


Isn't that about like shutting down the second engine of a twin engine plane with one failed engine already so it will get to your destination quicker?
