Thank you for hosting...These shots from my archives have interesting angles and views...they were shot from the open door of a Huey Helicopter flying around Chicago coming home from an event in Sheboygan...

As a past resident of Chicago, I'm loving the fresh perspective of so many familiar places. Nice set Namwife!

Here are a few from a trip to Italy many years ago.

Beautiful set. Breathtaking color and detail. My favorites though are the staircase and the lamp perhaps because they aren't specific to the "attractions".

Is that a great place, or what? Good views and details. Can't wait to get back there.

Fantastic place! Spent all day exploring and watching the light shift shadows and color. I had chills off and on walking the town most likely brushing against ghostly residents!

Thanks sakitson! My husband and I love the west. And I still watch a couple westerns a week. Watched The Hanging Tree just tonight!

So many great buildings on display here. Thanks for the topic, Kat.

These Mongolian and Korean roofs enchanted me with the color and detail everywhere.

I have long intrigued by architectural photography, especially shots of details such as doors and windows, woodwork and stonework, and interesting angles and views, whether of modern or older architecture. I am looking forward to seeing your take on this challenge

Love this challenge Kat. I haven't visited some of my archives for years and like you I love windows, woodwork angles and views.

Great capture! What a lovely old building too. I can almost hear the bells ringing calling the children to class.
