Lots of good images, techniques, tips and pointers.

Thanks to everyone for sharing, and especially to
Sharon for getting us to try something new.

When I shoot flowers, I almost always use my Canon
with my longest lens because of it's excellent bokeh
when shooting wide open.

I wanted to recreate the same feeling with the camera
I originally bought for my granddaughter, a Sony RX10,
and while the image wasn't quite as "crisp," the results
were very satisfying.

Of course, then I had to "play" with it in Photoshop Elements.

And the last ones - not really impressive but I didn't have many images to choose from...Overlay Z6 I also did some monochrome in camera and they were not sharp and I thought they were ugly.

Like that first one Pat!

Its been a while since I explored "in camera" effects. My canon wouldn't apply any filters. The Nikon 750 did have a few but the Z6 had only one... so, here we go....with "fisheye"

Nice set Pat really like that first Fish Eye effect!!pg6

Thanks Sharon I just checked and the ones I shared weren't taken with the 7D they were taken with the Rebel I used before the 7D The 7D doesn't Have The Miniature or the Macro Styles available just Neutral, Faithful, Monochrome, Landscape Standard I usually keep it on Landscape with a user defined setting of 3. But I do occasionally play around with the White Balance Settings..
