Start at the top and go to the bottom is usually what I do. THe white balance is the first adjustment and then work slowly through the controls.
I shoot with a tamron and the pentax 55-300
I find the tamron just a touch cleaner
just angling for a some opinion from you pros or advanced ametuers. I have a Cannon 7D and a Pentax k-5 now as I read journals and mags most of the winners and published pieces are shot with full frame cameras. Regardless of the price, as I move into more paid work, do you feel that it is a must to have a full frame camera and how much better is the resolution than on the 7D and K-5 with similar lenses.
that sounds right we have our own version here. Once again nice shots
Each lens has a sweet spot. Finding the right len with a long sweet spot usually involves the spending of vast amounts of cash. I recently bought a used 400mm prime for my pentax and it works great. Try ebay for some great deals. Nikon prime lenses are as good as it gets and stay away from zooms. Love your geese by the way.
where did you find him / her?
I'm off to a butterfly garden today!
nice shot, What kind of little fellow is he. We don't get these on the west coast. I have a bird life list started and the rules are I have to photograph them and they must be wild.
great stuff. I love those old photos they emote the feeling of the times.
Hello all, I have been enjoying the daily emails and learning lots. I have been a photo buff since high school Where I learned to use a Pentax spotmatic and worked in the darkroom with my fellow students(female) learned more than just darkroom skills. I live in Beautiful B.C. in Nanaimo and am embarking 0n a new career in photography. I don't need a lot of money as I have some so I can do it for fun. I just purchased a new K-5 and am off on my Harley Davidson most days exploring this wonderful place that I live in.
