You should talk! In many other threads, I look up tons of information and post stuff for others to look at, and when I ask you a simple question about something, I get the same answer- "Go look it up yourself." You are no better than Viscount. I read tons of stuff, even a lot of the left-wing stuff people post while you proudly proclaim that you don't read anything. This forum is often one big circle jerk for people who just want to vent their feelings and don't want to learn anything!

When did I say that the EPA was not started under Nixon? In fact I never even mentioned the EPA. What we were talking about were regulations that the Obama Administration put in place in 2015, and Trump is reversing in 2017.

It is the conventional opinion from environmentalists that we are constantly choking on air pollution and drowning in polluted water. When you actually look at the charts that trend this stuff, you realize that all this talk is just a "bunch of smoke."

These regulations were not in place before Obama took office, and we did pretty well without them. In fact, under George Bush, the air quality index became better in the United States than at any time since the beginning of the Industrial Revolution.

Liberal media outlets are slowly dropping the "Trump colluded with Russia" stories. I think it is just starting to sink in that Obama and his administration are being implicated on numerous fronts for colluding with the Russians themselves. This is getting more interesting day by day.

I don't know a thing about French politics. What makes Le Pen a F*****t? And what is the guy like that won the v**e?

According to your article, what Trump is rolling back is a 2015 EPA regulation that sought to take control of local bodies of water where the Federal Gubmint (interesting, my spellchecker does not challenge the word "Gubmint") did not previously have jurisdiction. Water standards are implemented at the local and State level as well as the Federal level. Apparently, the 2015 EPA ruling was never put into effect because it has been stalled by lawsuits, so a Trump rollback will just leave things the way they were two years ago.

I am all for clean water, air, and soil, but the EPA has been one of the most dominant and draconian Federal agencies during the last administration, forcing businesses and individuals to do ridiculous things without due process of law. We have pretty much "solved" the pollution problems in the United States a long time ago, and any further measures are trivial in comparison. Our air is cleaner now than since the beginning of the Industrial Revolution, and we've never had any widespread drinking water health issues.

I couldn't find data on number of people dying early vs. number of people receiving Social Security benefits, but I did find this. On average, Americans receive about 1/3 more in benefits than they paid into the system, and this is in inflation adjusted dollars. And people keep living longer and longer.

I do remember when this was revealed. It is one of the most damning things that happened under the Obama regime, and you're right, it got very little press outside of right-wing talk radio.
