What model do you have? Agree you need to use weight for added stability but some of the legs with twist lock start slipping with weight or over usage time or when wet, and others have legs that are more flat and still bend and move during shoots in wind.
I am looking for a good tripod for attaching to my Tamrac Evolution 6 backpack. It is a small lightweight backpack and I am hoping to find a tripod that will fit comfortably but be stable enough to hold a full size camera. Ideally it would fold to less than ~15" and be around 3 lb. So many review comments so far have voiced concern on stability in any winds when they get this light. Yes, budget is a concern but I am interested in others experiences and suggestions.
Nope! Posted in the Gallery for general viewing and comments, otherwise I'll post in the Analysis section for specific questions.
Just open to general critique and suggestions for improvement. I started this as a hobby earlier this year after purchasing my first non- point & shoot camera (Samsung mirrorless NX30). Thoroughly enjoy getting out and capturing scenes that appeal to me. Also subscribed to Adobe cc and starting to learn interesting ways to develop the raw images to make them appear as I see them.
This photo was taken yesterday from a local overlook to Lake Jocassee.
I understand that it does not yet work on Windows based computers - true?
