No, none of those.
There is simply no way to get a sharp image of the distant area near the edge of the hole.
It will always be covered by the out of focus edge of the hole.

Focus stacking has its limitations.
For example: if you had a newspaper with a hole in it and tried to shoot a closeup of the paper with both the paper and the infinity scene through the hole in focus, there will always be a fuzzy ring around the hole.
The shot with the infinity scene in focus will have the part near the hole blocked by the fuzzy image of the paper hole edge.
This can be helped by using a smaller aperture, but not completely eliminated.

"What differences would I notice in using a dye ink printer vs a pigment printer?"

Dye will start with blacker blacks, but will fade.

Piezography inks in a brand new printer should be free of any clogging issues you might find if using alt inks in a used printer.

The $300 Artisan 1430 plus Piezography inks, carts, & refill supplies (110 mil inks for each tone), should make 13x19s better than any of the standard Epson wide format printers & inksets that lack a gloss equalizer.

Both initial cost and cost per print are much lower than the alternatives, too.

If you will be satisfied with 13x19 size limit, get the Artisan 1430 for $300, and a set of Piezography inks & carts.
If you want bigger, go with the R2000, with its roll paper (& canvas) capability, 13x44 or even 13x129 with Qimage sw.
And it takes an extra shade of gray, compared to the 1430.
Sell the unopened color inks to recoup some of the cost.

Don't mount the laptop on the same support as the camera.
You don't want to shake or move the camera while working on the laptop.
Use a longer USB cable if needed.

Look into Piezography inks. If you want the ultimate B&W prints, the many shades of gray plus a gloss equalizer, seem like the best solution. A new, low cost dye printer that is compatible with Piezography inks, and meets your size needs, would be my recommendation.

The diopter setting is the same for any lens and distance.
It only affects the image between the focusing screen (ground glass) and your eye. Chose whatever diopter lets you see the black squares on the screen the sharpest.

So now the store must either sell the lens as "new" to the next buyer, (dishonest if not illegal), or discount it as used, or demo.
Does not seem like it's fair or sustainable.
Wonder why we have so few camera stores anymore?

I think the camera store should be able to charge you rent on the new Tamron you converted to "used".
