First of all, no one has been disarmed in this country, and I say this as a gun owner. In case you haven't looked, the Supreme Court strengthened the interpretation of the Constitution in regard to guns, and not one person has lost his guns to the government.

Second, policy on gun ownership--for or against-- ha absolutely nothing to do with C*******m. You have no idea what C*******m is. Also, no one has reduced the freedom of speech in this country. That freedom is protected by the Constitution, and no one charges that we have lost freedom of speech in any way.

There were losses of freedoms in the Patriot Act, v**ed and affirmed by 'our' congress.

We have not moved toward a socialist economy; you have no idea what Socialism means, and no one is advocating Socialist programs for this country.

There have been No Moves to euthanasia in this country; that is panic proclaimed by uninformed conservative politicians and has absolutely no basis in fact.

No one is advocating k*****g the unfit; where do you get this stuff?

And remember political violence against political opponents is something Trump started.

I'm afraid you are scared on a lot of things that arent' real and don't happen. Panic is never a good program,but observing reality is a Good start. Try it.

Btbg, you do not know your history. You would do well to study the years of bipartisanship during the last half of the 20th century, when the kind of obstructionism that runs rampant in today's Congress and Senate just didn't happen. It was common back then for the parties to cooperate in approving most SCOTUS nominees of the opposite party, barring some outrageous disqualifying aspects. For you to claim that the Democrats during that time never v**ed for a conservative justice indicates that you just do not know your history. There is much you are either ignorant about, or being less than honest about, when you make such bogus blanket assertions like you just did.

I may well rue the day we elected Trump, but that at least gives us a chance. Another liberal judge appointed by Clinton and any vestige of the country that I know and love would have been irrevocably gone. And it should be pointed out that would have already happened if not for Trump being elected. To you that is a bad thing. To me that at least gives our country a chance of survival, albeit small.

I will take that chance over no chance. Obama nearly destroyed our country. If the Republicans don't get their act together and fix the affordable care act, which was done so fairly, since Republicans being unfair seems to be a topic on this thread, just the financial weight of that one signature accomplishment of Obama's presidency may destroy us, let alone some of the other policies and executive orders that he passed.

The only reason that you can't see how bad Obama and Clinton were and are for our country is because you are like minded. The only thing that I can think of that Obama did that was good was to act p**********l most of the time, except for when he was badmouthing conservatives.

I would rather have a president who is anything but p**********l, but at least isn't advancing a progressive agenda than a president who acts p**********l on the surface, but knowingly ignored the constitution.

Remember Obama is a constitutional scholar and he had more executive orders overturned by the courts as unconstitutional than any other president in history. Pretty amazing, especially when you consider just how liberal many current judges are.
