I thought I knew about resizing my photo files. I didn't!

Hello. I joined the group within the last couple of weeks. Online, I go by Ret. I'm a retired engineer.
I live on Lake Martin which is NE of Montgomery, AL.
I've been a photographer since I bought my first camera, a Yashica Lynx rangefinder many years ago, shortly thereafter graduating to a Pentax Spotmatic SLR. (Still have those cameras in an old box along with several others I've set aside over the years.)
In the Service, I spent a lot of time in the hobby photo lab of the Army installation in Germany developing and printing my b/w 35mm negatives. Now, I "develop" my photos in Photoshop.
Presently, I use either my Nikon D7000, or Canon s100 for my photos, the latter when I need the most portability like on motorcycle trips.
I prefer taking nature photos over people photos, but I have plenty of the latter of my kids and grandkids.
Being now retired, I take trips to places where I can find interesting scenery: for example, Hawaii, Canada, Appalachians, and the American Southwest.
I joined this group to associate online with folks who can offer photographic help and support, and provide new ideas.

Very beautiful series!
Thanks, Linda! Some locales just have amazing scenery, allowing the photographer less work to capture it.

Thanks for the nice comment. I viewed your webpage.
I'm from Pensacola originally, not far from you, and lived on the Intercoastal Waterway. Hurricane Ivan drove us north to Lake Martin.
