Entry to the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, Spain
Entrance to the "Nunery" at Chichen Itza, Yucatan, Mexico
Entrance to Angkor Wat, Cambodia
Entrance to the Dungeon in the Palais du Papas, in Avignon, France
Nice...I like the B+W best!
I always worry about technology obsolescence. When's the last time you were able to play a VHS tape at home? I think discs of many types may be heading the same way. Almost nobody rents bluerays anymore with all the streaming that's available, so how long with that tech remain with us?
I use an eternal hard drive and a second computer drive that automatically copies new photo files to the other computer using a scheduled task after hours. Those are for convenient retrieval if my primary computer drive dies.
For catastrophic backup (house burns down, etc), I subscribe to MS Office 365. You get a free TB of cloud with that, so all my photo stuff is up there. For a sorta redundant and because it is also free secondary cloud backup, I'm using Google photos which let you upload unlimited photos as long as they are allowed to compress them some. They are still pretty large files and for an "all-else-failed" way to get back some of the memories, I think that's OK.
Finally, I think it's important to keep watching how things are changing and keep up with tech so I won't be blindsided some day. I'm not sure if there really is a "long-term" solution any more.
Bridges are fun...sorry if this is too much.
Pontevecchio over River Arno in Florence, Itally
Covered bridge over the South Fork of the Merced River, near Wawona Hotel in Yosemite
Stone bridge over the Merced in Yosemite Valley on a gloomy day
The famous Perrine bridge over the Snake River in Twin Falls, ID
A little foot bridge in San Sebastian Spain that allow the clergy to move from their residence to the Cathedral unseen
A bridge for water...Roman Aquaduct in Segovia, Spain
A bridge over the Seine in Paris, with the tireless workers who are still trying to finish the construction.
Finally...a natural bridge in Utah.
White on white (with some curves) A pear blossom from my backyard
