Comet Neowise. Jerome, AZ

Well that's one of the better shots of Neowise I've seen.

I posted the first shot earlier this morning under the title "sunrise, really." The second image is from the same spot, a four image pan, that shows the cold front coming through, too late for my sunrise full of color.

You have a great view of the city. Nice job with the panorama.

I can't decide which one I like best, but #2 caught my attention right away.

Very nice photo of the distant Watchman. The Virgin doesn't always run this clear, but winter shots with snow makes it a special place. Good job.

It's been a good one for sure, and I have enjoyed all of your favorites for 2023. Thanks for sharing

Thank you so much to all who participated, looked, commented. The images posted were windows into not only some of our favorite photo subjects and techniques, but also glimpses of the important people, places and events in our lives. I treasure those tidbits as much as the remarkable images.

My finale would be 2 of my favorite landscapes from 2023. The first was on a humid foggy morning with a hot sun piercing the fog. The hues were soft and golden. I chose to finish it with an oil paint PS filter. The second was the first landscape I took with my iPhone 15 pro max. It was a Fall evening and the sky was multicolored and the air so clear it was possible to see the mountains many miles away.
Thank you so much to all who participated, looked,... (show quote)

Both are very nice, I love the misty one.

You're right about it being old.

Well, that's what I went up onto the roof to look for, hoping that last night's storm would have left some great clouds in the east for some spectacular
colors.
This view is to the south, hand held at .4 seconds.

Well the sun is still out there, but you must use a Cloud filter. Nice photo of your neighborhood.
