It was t-shirt weather, then this happened!

You may not have welcomed a drastic change in the weather but you didn't let it get you down. You grabbed your camera and captured these awesome winter scenics. Thanks for sharing these, Photolady!

We visited the museum several weeks back, besides many other interesting things there were a lot of tanks which are featured here.

Impressive series, RE. Excellent captures of the display of tanks. It's quite amazing they've found a 'resting' place where people can view them in the General Patton Memorial Museum.

A small 4"-5" bird is a loud songster and can be heard from far away.
Always moving. Hard to get a decent shot of the bird.

800mm shot. Hand held. 25-35 feet away.

Canon 5Dsr - Canon 400 II DO f4 - Canon 2.0x III - 1/160 - f/8 - ISO @ 800.

What a sweet little song bird. From majestic eagles to charming small birds, your captures are so impressive, Regis!

Annie this a beautifull set top to bottom. You've visited some gorgeous places and your captures are great.

I really appreciate your nice feedback, Bruce. I was a 'country bumpkin' from Grandville - a small town adjacent to Grand Rapids, Mi, and never expected to become a peregrin traveler. My first trip abroad was
Africa with my mother in 1978. In March of 1979 my husband passed away and money from his insurance enabled me to travel abroad for several years. At 93 my traveling days are over and I treasure the memories. God bless you!

No problem, Beercat. I was surprised they turned out as well as they did. Have a lovely evening.

All excellent images... I also remember when one could walk out and touch the lone pine....(#4). Now you need permission from the Big Sur Conservency to even photograph the tree. All they want to sell is their pictures of the tree....fat chance.
Rich...

Greedy people. With our powerful zooms I don't think they can stop us getting a decent image of this famous tree. Thank you, Rich, for your pleasing feedback.

Annie, you did a great job getting these to digital. It is so cool to go back through shots from long ago and relive some of the moments that were captured!

No credit due me. I just took them to a store that has that service. Thanks for viewing these, Carol.

There is still a bit of Winter left.
We're in the middle of a cold snap, temperature at about -5F, to begin the day. It will be sunny with a few patches of cloud. The wind has left snow patterns on the ice and yet there is a bit of a mist.
All of it has made an attractive sunrise.

All I can say is - GEORGEOUS! You captured an unforgettable moment, Pierre!
