American medical services are among the world’s best; American healthcare plans are dreadful in comparison to other developed nations.
I understand your concern regarding additional federally administered programs but some just make sense. Would we want to privatize national defense?

I’m not sure Medicare for all would be worse; in fact I think a single payer system would be far better. Medicare is an effective health care system that runs with less than 5% administrative cost compared to the “for profit” HMOs that average 18%.
