OK,if I want to save a picture in Photoshop and send it 300dpi 3x3 what should I do. is there a site I can go to to explain?
Ok, not to be a pain in the butt, but I changed the picture to 300dpi vertical and horizontal, now when I save to my desktop and look at the information i get this: 1370x900,300 dpi 24 bit depth, 1.07 mb 1,126,575 bytes. Document width 4.567x3, they said 3x3. I have to email them today, thank you for all your good input.

It is not clear to me how you are asked to send them, email? upload? DVD? If DVD, send your maximum resolution and they can always reduce the image to their convenience. But just reading the submission instructions may clarify the issue for you.
I emailed the person today to let them
know I need all the details
thank you all for your good advice.

Asking is an incredible idea. If you were to send a 6X9 @ 1800x2700 pixels in both AdobeRGB1998 and sRGB, I cannot see how you would go too far wrong. But if it were me, I would ask.
I was asked the other day to do a photo shoot of a famous author. They liked my photos and want to put them in a national magazine. I was emailed to send high resolution pictures in to have published but I don't know what size, resolution, jpeg or tiff? Any help would be great, oh yea, I have to do this by tomorrow. I have Lightroom 5 and Photoshop 6.
Ok, I've paid my dues. I Bought all my equipment (and then some) I've done all my free practice shots on my clients and their families, I did 16 headshots for a Realty company for $25.00 a person, post production and dropped a cd off to everyone. I even shot a 3 hour bat mitzvah for $100.00. Now I need to start getting paid. What is the best way to get your name out there that is inexpensive and works fast? I have a studio set up in my house, now I need to use it.
I have done some headshots the other day at a firm to update their web sites, now they want to do some full body advertising shots. What is better for that, Flash or continual light. I want to shoot with a completely white backdrop.
I am going to shoot some headshots for a company to update thier business cards and advertisements. I just bought some new equiptment and would like some advice on setup. I have 2 alienbee 800 1alienbee 1600 an octobox. black backdrop plenty of umbrellas white, black, silver, gold, what settings would work the best and angles of the lights. If I do well today, I could be doing 70_80 headshots for them. Thanx
I just had a friend sell me an Alienbee 800, Alienbee 1600, 2 Ls 3050 light stands, 3 Manfrotto 333 Light stands, a 47 inch Octobox Softbox, and 5-6 umbrellas all different sizes and colors for $250.00, all in mint condition. I set it all up and got this picture.

I don't know what "inexpensive" means to you but I prefer Canon Pixma.
I'm on my third Canon over several years and always have excellent luck with them. Understand that no printer today will last forever, they're designed to fail in time but they're still excellent.[/quote]
I have an Epson artisan 837, awesome printer. I am a manager at office depot and we sell i for 300.00 normally but now on sale for 129.99, great deal. I have also made alot of money selling my printed pictures. Ink is @ 100.00 foe extra large ink.quote=Sherrylynn]What is a good inexpensive printer for photos that is an all in one with wi fi?
