This is my "borrowed" bodyguard. Aly is afraid of tiny dogs so I don't know how well she would protect me.

Love the original shot. I wouldn't do a thing to it.
I really like #3 and 4. I love the bridge and the eagles flying overhead.
Glad I found this site, Fstop12. Looks like a very informative group.

Thank you Etchersketch. I love shooting nature the best. Rarely do I shoot people. I guess I am too concerned over their privacy.

Thanks, Shooter. There aren't many places in south central Texas with colors like Lost Maples (which is up in the hill country). Usually I have to settle for shooting green or bare. We've had a really bad drought this past year and so many of our trees and cacti are dead now. There's no water in so many of our creeks. The rivers are so low we are discovering all sorts of things that had been at the bottom of what once was lake or river area. I love my Sony camera, but want to try moving up slowly to DSLR. I've been looking at Nikon and Canon. I don't want to invest a huge sum of money until I know I'll get out and really use the camera and accessories.

My name is Anne and I just found this wonderful site. I am a beginner in photography after putting up my SLR for many, many years. I just love the digital age. Right now I am using a Sony DSC-HX1 camera. It has a 20x optical zoom. This has helped me "find" what I enjoy shooting. Most of my shots are nature - landscape and flowers.
