Hey, I'm back again. Just spent a fun week cavorting with the spring peepers, after Dark Lady Kimberly put the whammy on me. Said I'd been a bit too forward when I tried to steal a kiss, and told me some green time *ribbit ribbit* would be just the thing to cool me off.

And I can't say she was wrong. I'm feeling much cooler now. Even shivering.

Still want that kiss, tho...

You want to kiss Kimberly? Seems a bit fickle to me and I'm surprised Madame P would approve. Are you trying to make your beautiful Madame P. jealous? Be warned - you could lose her. Nice picture of Kimberly who looks rather dubious.

An excellent image of the sweet little bird. He's singing his heart out for you. So glad you shared this, Carol. 🐦

So you're a Marine, Annie! Good for you! I thank you for your service! Our son recently retired from the Navy after 20 years. He's a Corpsman and Senior Chief! I love all these photos, Annie! The first one's so pretty!

Hi Sue,
Quite some time ago you told me about your son's experiences in the Navy. Thank him for serving our country for 20 years!
I'm glad you enjoyed these images. The first one is of my niece Marcie superimposed on a Queen Anne's Lace.
I appreciate your comments on my post.

about 3 weeks back just before the major snow storm hit, someone dumped a gray kitty off.
It took a few days before i was able to grab her-him and bring it in the house. Once picked up- i discovered it as not a "Him" but a her and very PG.

Carried her into my office where i had it prep'd for her to stay. On the 9th, she delivered 5 solid gray kits the same color as she is.
They are growing like weeds- eyes are open and the bigger one is already playing with mom.
Here are just a few pictures i snapped of them.

A camera in your hand is like a magicians wand performing magic. 🎩 Your ospreys landing are fantastic, Regis!

These were really too far away for my 300 lens so are cropped which makes the lambs look bigger than they are!! Some were about a week older and the tails that had rubber bands on them, known as "tail docking" part of the tail had dropped off. You will see some with the band still on the long tails. I am told it is done to keep them clean and in better health.

The coloured numbers on the mothers and lambs connects them together.

Not the best of shots but I thought the lambs were cute.

Canon 650D 70-300 lens.

Please try the downloads.

We have wood ducks in both the San Joaquin and Kings River (central San Joaquin Valley) which are not too far for an easy drive. They are one of my favorite waterfowl species. I love to photograph them.

This spectacular image defies description. I'm having a hard time believing it's real and not an oil painting. A masterpiece, Mike!

Some very interesting and varied photographs of your passage through life.

I particularly like the first two, the flowers and frozen leaf with the ladies
showing through, very creative.

The Galapagos Tortoise catches the eye with its size, although I assume
you did not take this one, as you are in the picture.

The Black and White photograph, with a hint of sepia tone has good definition.

The last photograph I again assume that is you in the tree, has excellent colour
rendering for what I take it to be film.
All in all a great set of photographs.
Thank you for posting.

Thank you for checking these out and leaving the interesting comments, Leicaflex! Your assumption is correct. I was with a tour group and everyone was shooting
everyone. That IS me posing in one of the giant pieces of driftwood that's scattered on Rialto Beach in Washington State,Olympic National Park. The impressive display
of driftwood was awesome. I appreciate your extensive observations!

Digging thru the archives I found some favorite images that evoked memories. I hope you'll find this hodgepodge interesting. The baby is my great-grandson. It was a thrill to have a close encounter with the Galapagos Tortoise. I joined the Marine Corps in 1943; this is me and the Marine I replaced. I'm always happy to get your comments and learn from criticism.
