Ahhhh! Flowers to appreciate while sitting in a blizzard. Just another thing to love about UHH, down under friends who share the sunlight and warmth. Thanks for the colorfull reminders of spring!
There is one stud cavity in my house that over the last 3+ decades mice (40ish times) crawl into and die. It then stinks to high heaven. Of the multiple dozen cavities this is the Only one where this has ever occured. What on earth could cause this? About three years ago I found a product called fresh carb rodent repellant and until today haven't had a single mouse in there. Now I can no longer find fresh carb in stores or on line. Many online sites like amazon list it but it is out of stock or in some way not available. TSC says they are no longer able to order it. Any help with either of these questions greatly appreciated. I know use irish spring and cayene pepper, no idea if this will work.
AP, I like your colorfull seasonal photo! But more than that I like the unfailingly upbeat nature of your threads. In your food shots I've never figured out which you enjoy more, making the dish, photographing it or eating it! Lol!
Don't kick yourself to hard, 46 yrs between screwups isn't a really bad record though I do feel your pain on the lost shots. Been there done that, I doubt anyone who shot 35mm hasn't.
This is known as a murmuration, and it is indeed fascinating to watch. I have only seen it with starlings so I learned something today. Edit: prior to your post I had never heard of a Dunlin.
On the rare occasion I am mistaken for a pro I ussually get a big head about it, same with the great camera comment. I guess I just love flattery! I understand that most don't know better but no problemo.
