You can purchase a portable 1 terabyte (sp?) for less than $100 these days. Larger drives are not a whole lot more.
Thumb drives are really cheap and come with fairly large capacities these days.
I use Carbonite's online backup. About $60 a year for unlimited backup and super simple to use. No, I am not a shareholder...
