Since September I have been trying for full moon shots, with my Nikon D90. All my images have 3 red dots in them. All in the same position in the frame, irrespective of the position of the subject in the frame or the direction the camera is facing. They appear with my 18-105mm lens and my 70-300mm, which I think rules out the lenses as the culprit. I have cropped the attached shot to show one of the dots clearly. (Please download). The dots also show up in Live View, so I know its not my computer.
Please note, the subject is the red dot, not the lousy moon shot! By adopting the Sherlock Holmes philosophy, I am only left with Aliens as the cause!
Any ideas?
