Whether you look at the short or the long end of it all, it is the Dems who have caused the shutdown for they have had the idea that they would Not do anything to work on anything that President Trump had promised during his campaign. They do not want to approve of anything the President wants because they lost an e******n. They like playing "party politics" rather than doing the job they were elected to do by the citizens of the United States. This has been one of the worst Congressional sessions ever. It is time for all elected officials to do the bidding of the people instead of their party. All I have to do is look at what many democrats said in the past 8 years and most all of them were stating that we needed to protect our borders, even with putting up a wall or some form of barrier. Some of these people are past president obama, hillary clinton, senate minority leader schumer and many other democrats including the house minority leader.

This past session they had become known as the party of do nothing. Lets see what they can in the coming congressional session.
