Notice the shaft of light from the sun. That's called a "Sun Pillar", and according to Chicago's weatherman a rare phenomenon. At age 65, I've seen hundreds of sunrises and sunsets and this is the only Sun Pillar I've ever seen.
Had you moved to your right a touch and put the singers head directly over the spotlight, you could of had a nice halo effect. Did you?
Thanks for responding. I drove a cab in NYC for three years.
You could probably contact the manager of the that building and sell them that flattering photo.
This is one the finest B&W Architectural shots I've ever seen. It belongs on a wall.
Looks kind of familiar. Is that Fifth Avenue?
#1-- No question. In #2, I don't like the enhancement of the guitarist's skin. The shirt in #2 is nice, brings out the old LCD trip, but I'd bet the guitarist would pick #1.
Take a close-up of yourself and enhance it, see what you think.
This is a picture that truly tells a story.
Where--? India? Pakistan?
I was thinking the same thing about the French painter-- edouard leon cortes
Your photo was lovely
Golden Window-- definitely-- a real piece of work -- perfect the way it is. Julia Child would have loved it.
then-- Feed Window
I'd like to see "Golden Window" on its own, so I can enlarge it.
And-- I'd like to known where each photo was taken.
Thanks for the nice comment. I drink at the bar where the top photos were taken-- Robey Hotel. Stop in, I'll buy you one.
Ha-Ha-Ha! As long as it ain't your urinal
Just a few aspects of downtown Chicago. The by air photos are from the John Hancock Center
I particularly liked the one thru the window-- beautifully framed. The top photo shows the promise of a lovely sunset; I hope you stuck around for it. Post them if you did.
But very lovely color in that top photo from the Channel. Made me want a nice hot cup of coffee.
Lovely. The area looks very moosey. If you hung around long enough, a bull probably would've entered your frame
The third photo is quite charming, perfectly framed and showing a sweet curiosity from the roo. I hope you emailed these to those girls.
