Nice. This picture really comes alive when you click on download.
Thanks one and all for the nice compliments. As I walked down the dock to the boat We live on, I counted 18 Blue Herons waiting for the tide to recede.
The Herons are standing tall and stately in one group. A little ways away a bunch of Canadian Geese are also in a group.
A third group is made up of Seagulls.
The cormorants also stay in their own group. They stay on the breakwater when not out fishing.
It is quite a world here living on a boat.
These are two of our resident eagles. When the salmon are running, there are several pair in the area.
That is the Peace Arch in the background. It sits on interstate 5 as it meets the Canadian border.
Thanks everyone for your comments. We are predicted to get between 4 and 7 inches of rain, over the next few hours. I guess the ducks will enjoy it.
The Kingfishers here seem to be pretty nervous. This one let me get close enough for a few pictures.
Some more of my bird neighbors.
Here are a couple of pictures of our local Blue Herons.
Haven't found the BIF section yet. Will keep looking.
Thank you all for the nice compliments.
Thank you everyone. The duck had been feeding in the snow.
I love to capture flying birds.
I like this little hen flying.

I am retired and live on a boat. I shoot a D90, D600 and a D810.
I am an active member of a couple of Yacht clubs. Both clubs, have recruited me to shoot their activities.
Living on the water offers many opportunities to shoot waterfowl.
