Having the same problem. Worked with 2 D90's--NEVER had any sensor issues. Took it in for a pro cleaning and 2 days later-- MORE SPOTS!! Thanks for bringing this up. Any other D7000 users having this problem?
Ansel Adams was happy to get 10 portfolio worthy images a year. Hats off to all those doing better than Ansel!
