Last weekend I went to Tullulah Falls Gorge and took a bunch of pictures. When I showed them to a fellow photographer which he has 27 inches DELL monitor with high resolution. He zoomed in and checked every rocks, bushes,... looking exposure, sharpness of each objects. Wow...To me it is kind of over-killed in examining or judging a picture.
Where are composition, emotion, movement, curve, shapes, colors,.... factors involved here in judging a picture?

The SX50 likes bright sunlight, good contrast, and close subjects. If you also have trouble with movement, perhaps use a tripod.
There are plenty of "tack-sharp" shots that are boring, uninspired compositions. For me, the emotion, creativity and art of an image always trumps pixel peeping.
