I haven't seen my response come through to you about equipment used. It was a Nikon D7000, FX 70-210 cropped by 1.5 at f/4

Linda, excellent balance. This is full of action. My eye keeps jumping from the eagle to the tree. Reminds me of Japanese or Chinese influenced art. Well done

The D7xxx series can use you film lenses, but not the others. Get a refurbished D7200 or D7100
I use a D7000 and use a combination FX and DX lenses
