Thanks for the wild ride, d-cart! Are you one of the people on the wild ride? I know your family and friends don;t call you d-cart; would like to know your name, if
you don't mind telling me.

this Carolina wren couple built their nest in a hurry in my red salvia pot on the deck railing.
last year they built it in my red petunia pot which was in exactly the same place. I hope I
don't miss the babies leaving the nest this time.

Wonderful series, Meri. Those little wrens do a great job constructing their nest. 🐦 With their ability to carry such big mouthfuls of building material,
I can see why they can build it so fast. I hope you get shots of the babies to share. 😊

After visiting the Utah zoo, the jackpot for me was capturing the lion photos. They seem so regal.
Please download these for best viewing.

Oh my! You did indeed hit the jackpot, Brent! These are masterpieces and deserve a blue ribbon. Your images show the King of Beasts in all his glory. 🐻😊

A very appealing show of life and death, Robert. So it is with human life - sunshine stages to slowly fading away, and finally the beauty of death. Your face of sunshine is stunning 🌻 and the drying sunflower impressive. The decaying sunflower is a masterpiece! 😊

A good example of pareidolia, Mike. That grizzly had a bad hair day. 🐻 Thank you for the well done fun image.

Hope this makes you smile! Just a fun shot. I was sitting looking at a wooden fence, as you do and noticed the reflection, took the shot then uploaded it to the Ipad. Can you see what made me smile.......

He looks like a friendly grizzly. 🐻 Very nice work capturing this image, Sylvia. Finding pareidolia takes a good eye.😊

Thank you, Bill, for your very nice response. I've never had so many Hogs look at and respond to any of my posts as the one on Peek-A-Boo. 😊 It has
made me very happy.

Early morning my favorite time of day (well look, I was allowed to awaken to enjoy it) provides beautiful light and in my neck of the hill country quite a few photo ops. The sky was overcast and the light was soft and then I had several cooperative subjects to choose from; here are a few. Please try the downloads.

Thanks for sharing this wonderful bag of surprises, jwt! #1 is absolutely stunning. I especially like the deer snapping to attention. All in all, great captures of
interesting subjects. 📷

Me and my wife took trip down to Ruidoso, NM for a couple days of R&R. Here are a few pics we took along the way.

Thanks for sharing your R&R, Basil. Love your wife's wheels. Your 'flower' is very beautiful; however, I believe it is a thistle, not a cactus blossom.

What better represents summer than beautiful flowers? I hope you enjoy these as much as I do.

I know the difference between blue and purple so want to correct my comment. 😊 The purple salvia is striking!

Your show of summer delights is very pretty, Carol. Love #1 - the blue is dazzling. When I did gardening one of my favorites was the gaura.
