Just can across this forum today, and thought it worthwhile joining. I live in the southern Adirondacks of NY, and concentrate on landscape photography, of which there is a never ending supply here. My equipment consist of a Nikon D5000, as well as a D40 for hand held shots. My main lenses and the Nikon 18-105 mm, and used for the first time today, a Sigma 10-20 mm. If space allows, also pack a Sigma 70-300 mm and two 18-55 mm Nikons, plus CP and GND filters. Use a SLIK 780 DX tripod for 90% of my shots.
