Here are a couple of eagles enjoying a meal.
Two excellent shots. One with the BB gun and one with your camera. All kidding aside, the end result is a very dynamic picture.
Thank you every one. I caught the sun behind the tower on a afternoon walk a couple of weeks ago.
I can't believe how much the sun's path has changed since then.
Simply beautiful. Mother Nature certainly knows how to use colors. You were able to capture these colors.
This is a picture of the Semiahmoo resort water tower. It is located in Blaine WA.
Thank you everyone. The Herons will be getting in their breeding plumage soon here.
It is probably a bad case of editing. I took both of these pictures when I was living back in Utah a few years ago. I had just bought a D90 and a 70-200 2.8 lens. I was taking a photo class and learning to use PSE.
Trust me on the background. There is a little pond in a park in Ogden Utah that does not freeze in the Winter. The pond is surrounded by trees. The ducks love the pond and fly out to feed. I used to hide back in the trees and wait for the birds to fly by.
This big boy has gotten his fill feeding off the docks. He is heading back to the rookery.
This is the original background.
This is a captivating shot. Leading lines, rule of thirds and most important, a nice sharp eye.
A couple of our local eagles.
This is one of our many resident Loons. After a dive they will surface with a small fish, a small crab or other edibles. They play with their food almost like a cat.
Great capture. The fish is really sharp. I wonder, if this bird is related to the terns, that spend the summer here in Washington state?
