I would be shooting the 16mm fisheye with a D610. I do not have the 14-24, but have the 24-70 2.8. Just purchased the 16-35. Have really gotten into wide angles and love it. So much more creativity when using them. The 14-24 seems like an awesome lens. Did not pursue it, since you cannot protect it with a filter. When I had the 10.5 fisheye, I had just started my photography and never got into it.
Do you use it enough to justify the cost?
I am tempted in getting the full frame fisheye. Was told there is a big difference between the full and half frame fisheyes
Also have an 11-16 Tokina 2.8 for my 7100. Cool lens. I love taking my wide frames for street photography
Hi
Got into wide frame shooting. Have a 24-70 2.8 and 16-35 for my D610. Love them both
Does anyone have any experience with this lens and if so, is it a lens that I should consider to purchase?
Years ago, I purchased a 10.55 half frame fisheye for my D300 and sold it. Did not use it enough and was not creative enough for the lens
Thanks
Mickey

Hi

I met Mickey three times. A real gentleman. Mickey was the most gifted baseball player I ever saw. Unfortunately, he did not realize his full potential.
I already own the 24-70 and love it. My favorite lens on my D610. The 24 got such great reviews. I guess that if you are going to shoot in 1.4 99% of the time, the 24 would be better.
Yes I did. Born in Brooklyn in 1949. Became a Yankee fan in 1955 to be different. Have never wavered. Mickey was my favorite.
After traveling in many third world countries, I am truly blessed and fell fortunate that I can afford to pursue my love of photography
Have the 24-70 on my D610. My favorite lens. Would I notice a major difference at 24mm between both lenses? Know that in very poor light, the 24 1.4 would probably perform much better. Has anyone had any experience with both lenses?
