Bengazi is a Fox creation, there was no live TV, there were no troops ready to go, Stevens himself mAde the decision to go there knowing there would be no military help. Health care in this country has been an expensive mess for years and Obama tried to fix it. I am not happy with the Affordable Health Care law, I would have appreciated Medicare for all. The rest of the world has single payer systems that work and the US health care system is simply not as good as some others that have single payer. Tjhe cause of our deficit ,which so many of you are so concerned about, is the unfunded Iraq war, unfunded prescription drug benefit and the uncalled for tax cuts on the wealthy. Exacerbated by a recession the likes of which we had never seen. It was saved from being a depression by Bernanke initially in 2008 with the help of government intervention negotiated by both Bush and Obama staffers. The small stimulus is credited by 99% of economists with making the landing softer. We have known since the great depression that government money is needed to get the economy out of a deep trough and intelligent people can see that this lessens the ultimate deficit rather than deepening it.

Sorry to confuse. At work and doing too many things. The D200 is great but I find that converting the color to b&w is sometimes more pleasing. It looks as good as the D40 which is just b&w. I have studied the lifepixel videos but still cannot get my color to look like theirs. Beginning to think I am terminally stupid on photoshop but I am still trying to learn.
And,my point about the negative cost of money was that at the time when we most needed stimulus we wasted a golden opportunity. The purpose of stimulus is to get people working with a government boost. It has worked many times in the past to get businesses going, employing workers, getting increasing tax revenues and at a small cost to the government. So for a small outlay, we get a large return
Two issues you have there and since inflation is very low I question the first. Well interesting, we are a debtor nation and have been for many presidencies. The way to reduce the deficit is not to cut expenses as that just puts people out of work. Getting more people working and making more money is what reduces the debt. It is. But it is also logical. Tell me why the Republicans would not do stimulus when we could borrow at negative rates as was the case just a few years ago. And, it is not political at all that the deficit is declining at a rapid pace both due to an improving economy and the sequester.
It does no good to blame Bush for the economy or trash Obama because there is still high unemployment. It is a fact that McConnel and several other Republicans met in 2008 and decided to block Obama in an effort to make him a failed one term president. Worked only partially. The deficit is declining at historic rates and we need infrastructure work which would put people to work but the Republicans will not agree to it. We need education dollars which the states are holding back. Unemployment does not cause workers to drop out,it does give money to those in need who use it to buy products and keep the economy going. A higher minimum wage has been shown to have a positive effect on revenues and does not cause high layoffs.
I converted a D40 to B & W infrared and a D200 to color. The D200 converted to B&W is actually better than the D40. D200 color takes alot of jiggling in photoshop to get the4 color right. I need more lessons, I guess.
