I did some tabletop shooting for kicks just to see what i could do. I found one of the best ways to shoot was leaving a large dark area behind my shots, used a flash, bounced light fall off gave me totally black B/R, worked real nice. I have 2 shots posted usinf that method. One of 2 tulips, white with a little red in them and a still light with artificial flowers and some glassware. Give it a try.

Perhaps you didnt get as many leaves as i, if they got snow covered when Spring came they would pack down and cover front lawn completely, im talking multiple lsvers of leaves, billions of them. It was better to remove before snowfall otherwise i leterally had to rake them up before i could ever use tractor.

I used to grt leaves by the billions, would take me 2 days to clear front lawn with my tractor. If u didnt get them gone by the time snow fell would kill my lawn

They really aren't necessary unless you plan on making hugh prints. My M8 Leica is only 10mp and producess 13 x 19 super prints. Years ago i invested a $1000 on a kodak digital printer, makes gorgeous 4 color prints, when it works had lots of problems with it syncing colors printed 1 color at a time, prints costly but high quality glossy or matte print on waterproof surface. My large prints on Epson 1280, ink jet prints hi quality up to 13 x 19. A nude i shot, believe posted on here was shot on film 50 years ago and digitised at 1000% @300 dpi produces fantastic 40 x 60 prints.

We were not sure if my problems were going to be permanent or not and didnt want to get a house i couldnt maintain so we took an apartment. Was able to make money on my house which was a big surprise, when i bought it paid 425 had it for 12 years and it appraised for 530, got 500. I moved a town away near shopping and medical facilities. In Camden where i lived too far from everything, medical care terrible, here i can walk to hospital if i had too. Being laid up all thia time has not only sapped my strength but i am putting on weight, no good. One of the reasons i like the Leica is its small, light and ectremely quiet, my property was loaded with deer, fox and wild turkeys the quiet shutter didnt scare them.

No they sure aren't, i had to sell my house could no longer maintain it, too big and to much land. Had 23 acres, had to maintain about 5 acres, kept me busy all year. Lawns and landscape and pool in the Summer, leaves in the Fall, and snow and ice the rest of the year. We got hugh amounts of snow, usually started in Nov and went to April, weve had as much as 330 inches in a season. Now have a nice apartment and nothing to do, be 78 nect month so i dont think i will miss it much. We do miss the house though set back in the woods surrounded by nature and all kinds of witdlife.

The kodak was a full frame digital sbout 14mp.

About a yr and a half ago i managed to fall down a full flt of stairs in my sleep, still haven't completely recovered. Cracked about 6 ribs, fractured 5 vertibrae in my back, broken shoulder, foot, nose plus a brain bleed. Since they stoped distributing pain killers it left me pretty unstable. Waiting to see Neurologist and orthopedic surgeon to see if they can get me going faster.

But surely that was more due to the properties of the film (given the camera may have been keyed to the film) - than it was to the camera - no?

Kodak made some very fine cameras, back in the day - didn't they, Pat? ... They even made the first dig cam, too. But, apart from a few bridges, pretty much, now - they seem to've gotten out of the standard hardware fare, and have now concentrated on other things ...

I was looking at their bridges the other day (there sure are a lot of them) and some of them - look pretty good ...

The Kodak mentioned was a digital camera and expensive for its day, about 5000 dollars. It had some downfalls but the images were just spectacular. In a Nikon club i was in, after posting images taken with it alot of the members went out and purchased used bodies they liked the color so much, and they could use all their Nikon glass.
