I take a lot of landscape and bid pics her in Bellingham Washington. However I seem to end up with a lot of blue color photos or really soft images. I use the Canon T3 with the 18-55mm kit lens and the 75-300 lens mainly for my Birding photos. Because I am new to photography (only 4 months old) I tend to shoot with the auto settings on the camera. I will include some examples and any advice given is greatly appreciated.
OK also why does this keep telling me I'm trying to attach an invalid file. Is it because most of my photos are shot in Raw

So far it's done what I needed. I'm just going off of the advice from other photographers in the area.

Sorry for the delay. Work has been brutal last week. The night I shot the pics of the moon the sky was spotty with clouds and I couldn't get out of town so I was on a high hill in a recent built subdivision with no street lights. We don't get may clear nights this time of year hear so we take what little breaks we can. I have my remote shutter switch now so I will try your advice with my next attempt if it ever clears up anytime soon

Thank you for your reply. The process was amped up to the max during processing. Unfortantly I don't have my own computer and software just yet but am working on it. Being a newbie to the photo world of only two months I'm finding that is a lot to learn. As soon as I'm able to get the pic on a computer I will post the examples. Untill then I'm going to keep trying when I can get clear night s

I shot several photos of last night wax moon. We actually had a clear night in Bellingham Washington which is rare this time of year and every photo had a lot of noise in the black part of the pic. The moon itself looked pretty good for my first attempt. I need to figure out what is causing the noise. I tried F8 but had to drop down to F5 and F4 to get a decent pic ISO 100 and 1/100@1/125@1/400 trying to get a decent pic. Equipment used was a Canon t3 with a 75-300 which should have equalled out to a 480mm on my camera. A good tripod and the timer since my remote shutter doesn't arrive till friday. Pics were done in manual mode with them image at 10x magnification

Thank you for your advice on renting a lense however in Bellingham Washington there is no current place to rent lenses. I am going to try and shoot some practice pics over next few weeks. I have a 2x teleconvertor but have heard really bad reviews on using it. Am also taking the advice from other post and using a new tripod and shutter switch. I went ahead and spent the extra money on the tripod to but a good solidea one with a ball head and weight rating of 22lbs. Will see how they turn out and make some adjustments as needed. Thanks to all.
