You are blessed to have so much beauty in your state. Crater Lake,The Lava fields,Waterfalls and mountains to name a few.We had our military Veterans reunion in Eugene in 2008 and having relatives living there we were able to see so many beautiful sights.I would love to visit again but the old legs are too far gone.Good luck and have fun.

Buy a good film camera and go slow.Just like sport shooting,do not start with an auto loader as all you will do is waste ammo.
Both cities are great for photography.Some of my better shots were taken in Budapest.Prague Castle offers some great shots also. Have fun and shoot,shoot and shoot some more.
There are situations where B&W just beats color hands down.I keep my Canon Elan 7 loaded with B&W.Love it.

Barns and old houses make wonderful photos.
I have a Canon G11 that does a great job.It has since been upgraded but I would buy another Canon

I shoot with a Canon 70D and have both the 50mm 1.4 and the 85 1.8 along with the Tamron 16/300. I love both prime lens.
