You are very correct the last one was taken directly into the sun, even though it was somewhat overcast, it was brightly back lit and I have not mastered such a situation.

I don't claim to be a photographer but I was playing with my 50D 100/400 cannon lens on a tripod and this is some of the shots I came up with. Please tell me what I can do to improve them.

After hunting this area for 3 days with no success, 4days later while searching for Whooping Cranes, This beautiful buck allowed us great looks.

Actually the eagle was sitting on a low limb over the water, we planned to turn around go back, change drivers drive slower using the car for a blind and capture the Eagle sitting. The bird had other ideas and took flight before we got there but was kind enough to fly along side. Wife accelerated, we were able to fire a few quick frames before it realized we were there. Plans go astray so be ready to make the best of it.
