So Jim what you are saying is the picture quality and sharpness is the same? I am concerned about low light capabilities as I shoot in a lot of bars and nightclubs. My little 3200 is struggling. I could do without the wifi as I understand it needs some work anyway. If the picture quality and sharpness is virtually the same I will back to the 7100 and save $ for full frame in the near future. Thanks for the help

Hey Hoggers I need your expert opinions. Last year my 7100 which I really liked was stolen!! Since then I have been using a 3200. Now ready to get a new camera. I mainly shoot Events, Street Lifestyles, Portraits and Nature. Trying to decide on another 7100 or should I go for the 7200.Has anyone had experience with both cameras? Is the 7200 really worth the upgrade? Are there major differences? After a ton of research on both cameras I am still not convinced one way or another. I do like the idea of built in WiFi on the 7200 as I like to share my photos. I tried the plug in Wifi on the 7100 and was dissapointed in its performance. Any advice would be greatly appreciated as I know you guys are not bias one way or another. Thanks

Thanks SX2002 for advice the 18-140 is one of the lenses I'm thinking about and the 18-200. You ever tried the 200?

On the same subject i need a "walk around"for my 3200 and soon to be 7200 that gives me more range than my 35mm and 18-55. I have been researching like crazy the 18-140,18-200,18-105. I have an old 75-300 I use with my tripod that I like for long range. From what I've read the 140 is the best. Any suggestions? Thanks you guys are the only ones I trust for good information

Hey Hoggers, I am looking at the Sigma 18-250 for use on Nikon D7200 and D3200. Currently have Nikon 18-55, Nikon 35 G and Nikon 75-300. anyone have experience with the Sigma? I have read pretty good reviews but I know my fellow Hoggers know best! Thanks for any advice you could give me.

I am now a big friend of any kind of insurance or warranty here's why. Last year some one stole all my photo gear. Nikon D7100,(6 months old) 35mm, 50mm,18-55mm,70-300mm, backpack, tripod, cleaning stuff, filters, and a bunch of misc gear. All was covered by my homeowners insurance less my deductible of $500. So yes warranties and insurance are worth the money I would say. Also years ago I purchased an extended warranty on a 1989 Izusu for $250. The turbocharger blew up 1 day before the warranty was up. Warranty saved me $3000

Hey Barracuda,I recently had some my gear stolen. It was all covered under my homeowners insurance with Hartford. I submitted $ 2400 and they valued my gear at $2600 so I got a check minus my $500 deductible for $2100. Needless to say I was glad I had that insurance.

Thanks for your input been hearing lots of good things about this lens. My stuff was stolen too. Nikon 7200, 35mm, 70-300mm, 18-55mm, lots of misc. accessories, camera backpack and tripod. A real drag. Luckily all insured -$500 deductible. So now trying to build up my gear with limited budget. Was lucky at least my 3200 and 75-300 was with my wife.

Thanks guys for your input. I have a old 75-300 push pull zoom with manual focus that is pretty good. Just looking for something sharper without breaking the bank. Don't mind at all using manual focus Thinking to get one of the 300mm Ais and add a 1.4 converter to it.
