I give nature a hand by supplying sunflower seeds, some home grown.
He eats sunflower seeds.
Momma feeds him sunflower seeds.

There are a lot of grey market Nikons around. It means they were imported without going through Nikon USA. It isn't illegal, but there can be consequences. You get no US warranty. If there is a problem you either pay an independent to make repairs, or ship it to a Nikon facility outside the US. At one point, Nikon in Melville wouldn't even accept a grey market camera for a paid repair.

I prefer one over two based mostly on the way the mast dissects the lighthouse. Three is a bit two busy for my taste.

I live about 25 miles from a distribution center in Delaware. Stuff I get from there first goes to NJ and then back to Delaware, usually in 2 days. They used to send it from Delaware to West Virginia and back again, but they were going over, way over, the 2 days.
On the other hand, B&H Camera in NY who ships out of Brooklyn, gets my stuff here, with free shipping, the next day.
Go figure.

I like the second one better, mostly because the bird has a slightly better stance. I would consider cropping enough off the top to eliminate the distraction in the upper left.

The light outside, the ambient inside light, and the bright light coming through the window could have spelled disaster. You handled it well and produced a very pleasing image.

The colors in the clouds are a big attraction here. But having the red trees on the left and the green on the opposite side of the image adds a little tension/excitement, which elevates the image ... beyond just the clouds.

Funeral home flyers often have very nice photos, so you can take that as a compliment.
PhotoShop it to bright red and put it on her Valentine's Day card. She will love it! :)
But seriously, it is a beautiful capture, even if, for some, it evokes the wrong emotion.

Nice to walk through your own village and see photo opportunities. Having lived on Long Island until I retired, I recognized the church right away.
