We've invited ourselves by giving Israel tanks, guns, and planes to act a fool and THEN pretend to be the fair player, while trying to broker peace. We expect the Arabs to be stupid and to continue to "turn the other cheek" and bend over, IMO. It would be laughable, if it weren't so ignorant.

Does Israel murder thousands of Christians? Does Israel post Youtube videos showing the beheading of Christians? Does Israel put christians in prison for being Christians? Does Israel send hundreds of unprovoked rockets to Arab countries? Does Israel high jack air liners and crash them into US targets. Does Israel claim that they want to destroy the U.S.? Pard, you are either greatly misinformed or brainwashed. Where in the hell did you get your misinformation?

OK, lets pretend that suicide bombers don't exist, lets pretend that children are not used to carry out these attacks, like in Vietnam and the middle east, lets pretend
that all the school shootings never happened, on and on.
And lets pretend that no teachers have died in all of this.
That contraption could have been a remote trigger, many
of those cowards and fools died for the safety of the school.
Liberty is a myth my friend.

Can we also pretend that the radical Muslims do not want to destroy the USA and Israel?

Who ever has heard of a Muslim child carrying a bomb?! Oh, wait a minute. It happens every day in some country. It can't happen in the USA. It has never happened before. Oh, wait a minute. Something similar has. Never mind.

To paraphrase George, Cliff Claven on Cheers once said, "It"s a dog eat dog world and I am wearing milkbone underwear "

And full of kisses and hugs too. The pup on the left is flying to his forever home in Iowa on Wednesday. He will be missed here but he will be a blessing to his new family.

One time I had to fly a puppy to Milwaukee. I sat next to a lady about 55 or 60 years old who was born and raised on a ranch. I was carrying the pup with me. We talked all the way to St. Louis. Just before we landed, she said to me, "If someone had told me last night that I was going to sit next to an old cowboy who trains cutting horses, raises longhorn cattle and was carrying a red Poodle in a pink bag, I would have said, "You're a damn liar.""
There's never a dull moment on our ranch.

No it's not a real problem. Sometimes it is just like trying to hold 25 corks under water all at one time. It takes a fast camera to take pictures. Since we started raising Poodles, we have never run short of kisses and hugs.

Here is the problem with taking pictures of puppies. My wife took this.

After high school I went to University of Kentucky on a football scholarship. Second year My draft classification was changed to 1A and I was drafted. While in the Marine Corps I got married that meant I could not return to Kentucky on scholarship. I was recruited by Kent State University and finished out my undergraduate degree on a football scholarship and wrestled in the off season. No professor at either school gave me one point. As a matter of fact some professors were very anti-athletics. I guess I went to the wrong schools. I did graduate with a 3.3 as an English major. I get a little irritated at people who think all athletes are stupid jocks.

That is why athletics are valuable. Congratulations.

I don't believe much in luck but given my small size, I was very fortunate. Heck, I was very fortunate to get an athletic grant to begin with. My entire athletic career was like a fairytale. I did have to have surgery on my right knee and was able to come back. That was a small price to pay for a college education. I had a lot of help from a lot of good people not to mention God watching over me.

When I was coaching wrestling girls couldn't wrestle. We did however have a group of about 14 girls called wrestlettes at one school and pinnettes at another. These girls were a vital part of our program. They kept stats (takedowns, pins, escapes, reversals, wins and loses. They kept score books and filmed matches and practices. They were student trainers. They rode the bus with the team (they sat in the front). They, just like the wrestlers, picked up anything on the bus and each member of the team (girls and boys) thanked the bus driver when we got home. Our girls were highly respected by the wrestlers as well as the student body. I also am glad to see girls athletics get more attention and respect.
We as a team went to volleyball, soccer, football, basketball, baseball games and track meets as well as school plays. We as a team learned to respect and support other sports and school activities. I honestly believe that the lessons learned were worth the time, effort and risk involved.

How many teens are maimed for life each year?

Gate receipts. I do not any who were maimed for life. I know of some who were killed by auto accidents and some who were maimed by drugs, alcohol and sniffing gas because they didn't have money for drugs.
I do know quite a few who graduated because of Athletics.

Too much emphasis on sports is right! Lets quit spending the taxpayers money on every expanding sports facilities and use it for paying teachers that want to teach and providing books for the students.

I taught in an Ohio public school for 25 years and not one penny of tax dollars went to athletics. The sports programs (with the exception of coaches saleries) were self supporting. As for coaches' saleries: I kept track of how many hours I worked and figured my hourly pay. It was less than 10 cents per hour. Of course, I cannot speak for every state.
