I bought a Canon camera. If I found out it was not made by Canon, I would be highly POed. If the Smith company made an inferior product and put the Canon name on it, it would give Canon a bad reputation and cause them to loose money. I can understand the reason for their suit.
A few years ago, my wife and I had a salt lamp store in town. I noticed that some stores would not let their employees say Merry Christmas for fear of offending someone. That offended me so I decided to stop saying Merry Christmas to our customers also. I started saying Happy Jesus Birthday. I still say that. I guess I'm like an umpire. I call em like I see em.
I bought a Harmony 650 from Sam's Club for about $65. It controls tv, surround sound receiver, direct tv with recorder and two different DVD players. I love it.
Just out of curiosity, I would like to know Reuter's rule. If a photo cannot doctored does that mean it can't be lightened? I would like to know why he cut the camera out. What is the big deal with removing a shadow?
