Not much going on at the Vero Beach Wastewater Treatment Wetlands early yesterday morning except a couple of Blue Wing Teals. Its now so overgrown with reeds and filled with hyacinth's there's hardly any open water left and what there is is near impossible to access. So on the way home I noticed the sulkies are now starting to train again since the Covid issue so here a few of some getting an early morning workout. Best in download or DDL. Cheers and stay safe.

Go in and get care, if you wait too long they might not even have care at the level you need available. Catch any problems early!!!!

My wife hit Urgent Care and the Emergency Room on the evening of Sunday Jan 17 with major breathing problems, clots in her lungs, ultra fast heart -but tested negative for Flu and C***d. They have a total of 40 lab tests from blood draws x-rays on 3 days posted on our family Kaiser on line account. She came home the evening of Tuesday Jan 19 with oxygen, a compression/concentrator, meds including a heavy hitter pain k**ler and today she had a phone appointment with a respiratory specialist MD who told her that the only reason they sent her home was the fact they have so many C****-** patients that the ward she was in two days was a heated tent in the parking lot. In fact he told her that on the 17th she should have been put in ICU and would still be there until at least next Sunday and maybe longer.
But their ICU was full and one of the tents in the parking lot is what you might call an ICU lite plus a regular ward was turned into a second full fledged ICU and still is. Our oldest Son's immediate higher at his Army Reserve unit is in a tent in a parking lot of a Kaiser Hospital. And he has C****-** - probably caught when the unit was (still is) helping run C***d test stations for the last couple of months. From what I gather the National Guard medical units setting up many testing stations didn't have enough personnel so reservists were asked to "volunteer". Michael is a military certified EMT and did all but one class to be a special operations medic. He is Army Civil Affairs(Airborne) and this kind of stuff is what they often do anyway, but in foreign countries or things like natural disasters in the US.

So what she has is pretty serious, but they didn't want to keep her in ICU around the C***d patients because C***d on top of what she has would probably be deadly. And if she had waited a few hours to go in, that would have been deadly also.
Go in and get care, if you wait too long they migh... (show quote)

My condolences on living in California...I truly wish your wife a speedy recovery and hoping you stay safe also.

I took my wife and dogs to Antelope Island. I will post a complete set as soon as I am finished with post-processing. To give you an idea, attached is an 11 shot pano I took with my iPhone 11 Pro from the Island's main building parking lot looking east.

The download is the best view.

Beautiful day, beautiful photo from you iPhone Mike

You are talking only of the camera division as they have much more than just cameras.

Nikon’s video division specifically is expected to end this upcoming fiscal year operating at a deficit of 45 billion yen (~$433 million), which adds to the previous deficit of 17.1 billion yen (~$164 million) from March of 2020.

Why are they loosing so much money

For the fiscal year ending in March of 2021, Nikon is expected to post a colossal 75 billion yen (~$720 million) loss compared to a surplus of 6.7 billion yen (~$65 million) in the previous fiscal year....Nikon’s video division specifically is expected to end this upcoming fiscal year operating at a deficit of 45 billion yen (~$433 million), which adds to the previous deficit of 17.1 billion yen (~$164 million) from March of 2020.

If Nikon does indeed lose that amount by March, it would be the worst scale financial loss the company has ever experienced.

Sure hope they can turn it around, competition is great for everyone, especially the consumer.
