Sally and I have been watching this Osprey nest in the mornings (before it hits 98 degrees) from the shadows of the closest tree line. This morning was the first time we saw all 3 babies (2 females and 1 male) with the mom. The Dad makes a guest appearance occasionally with a fish that has it's head eaten (I guess the juiciest part). The juveniles are ready to leave the nest any day but should hang around for a while so I hope we get those first flights. The first shot is the Mom bringing breakfast and then the family minus Dad. I thought the babies were white polka dotted but as I tried to show its the tips of the feathers that are still soft and white and not matured. I guess it's unusual to have 3 babies in a nest. The juveniles are testing their wings in the nest preparing for flight.
