Snowy Owl - pictures taken by me from a couple of winters ago in Plum Island, MA.
Did you get to spot any Aurora's (Northern lights ) when you were there ? I am interested in going to Iceland and besides landscapes, waterfalls also interested in Aurora photography.
You can actually sign up free at NASA website - spot the station:
https://spotthestation.nasa.gov/signup.cfm
which will tell you exact time the ISS would be above the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia. I have been watching the ISS from here in the USA for more than a couple of years now. The previous day I get an alert from NASA via my e-mail the exact time it will be over my location and you could do the same for your location too. You could be prepared with your camera at that time and hope you could get a picture next time.
Fantastic pics. Love the light and details. BTW if I may ask can you share what camera and lens combo you were using ?
Excellent capture ! I have been following all your picture postings of the Osprey's in action. You have done an extraordinary job of documenting these agile birds. I am guessing that you are living in an area that is close to where these birds frequent. Great job and keep em coming. I like your lens combo. The 400 DO lens with 1.4 X TC is an excellent combo and produces excellent sharpness handheld which is awesome.
Nice ! Fantastic details. What camera and lens did you use ?
Thank you. Location: This bird picture was shot by me at Parker River Wildlife Sanctuary, Plum Island, MA.
