My child left a sheet draped over the back of the chair, so naturally this happened. I can only plead temporary insanity by reason of it being late at night.

Interesting!

And...you may have to watch a 1/2 hour video that could be done in 7 minutes, just to find out what they are talking about!
I learn slow, but I learn good!

GO TO THE DOCTOR!!! Some things can be resolved if treated quickly but not if you wait.

Also talk with a lawyer.

Don't sign any documents until you talk with a lawyer.

The liability is clear, and you were injured. You have a claim against the liability carrier of the truck!
Don't be shy about getting your injuries checked out!
Attorneys are lousy negotiators, and they will get 30-40% percent of any settlement you may get.

After 30 years I am retiring from B&H Photo as of 05/03/24. My job is being transferred to Geoffrey Ngai <gngai@bhphoto.com>.

Working for B&H and interacting here with all of you has been a singular and entirely satisfying experience. I want to thank everyone here who helped make it so. When I started at B&H I never expected to be here for 30 years, Now it's time to step back, stop setting the alarm clock every morning, and spend more time paying attention to my wife.

Best wishes to one and all.

Mountain town Salida, Colorado, on the banks of the Arkansas River, has a small airfield: Harriet Alexander Field is at 7523' at the base of the Collegiate Peaks in Chaffee County. It has a runway 7348 feet long. We enjoyed a great airshow last fall. These shots are with Sony a7iii and a Tamron 150-500, handheld. (Critique welcome. Could have used a faster shutter speed to stop props, I guess. More interested in the action and drama.)

The afternoon was grey and windy when we drove all the way to Dauphin Island's western end. But, once at the end of the road, the sun started to peek out from under the clouds and what a glorious sunset we witnessed from the site of a long-gone pier along the land bridge to the island. These are the moments that turn my knees weak with the utter beauty of the glowing sunset.

These images are from both a Galaxy S24+ and a Nikon D750.
(Best viewed in download...maybe then you'll spot which is which.)

Very nice! Tell me...Did the headnet interfere any with the photography, and keep the critters off?
